He has been working at the Library of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1990. Earlier he worked as a bookbinder and continues to perform binding work necessary for preserving the proper condition of the collection. He designed the label templates for book and journal call numbers and reorganized the book collection in the storage area.  He is also engaged in photography—he has organized exhibitions of works related to architecture, art, and landscape at the Gallery of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Suwałki Landscape Park, the Tatra National Park, the Museum in Łowicz, the Tatra Gallery Vila Flora in Smokovec, the Castle Museum in Niedzica, and the Lower Silesian Public Library in Wrocław. He has participated in group exhibitions of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF) and the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK).  He is the author of over one thousand photographs published in books by professors Andrzej J. Baranowski, Katarzyna Mikocka-Rachubowa, Jan Wrabec, among others, as well as in publications issued by the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Arkady, the University of Wrocław, Jagiellonian University, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Arx Regia, Art Historians Association (SHS), and DiG. He contributed photographs to the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences project Architektura późnego baroku i rokoka ziem Rzeczpospolitej. His photographs also appear on the covers of albums with recordings from the Phonographic Collection of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences – NPRH.
