Art historian, PhD, the author of book Pan niewolnik. Męski masochizm w performance okresu PRL-u (Mr. Slave. Male Masochism in Performance Art during the Communist Era in Poland) (IS PAN, Warszawa 2018).

She studied at the Institute of Art History at the University of Warsaw and Gender Studies at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. She obtained her master's degree on the basis of her thesis Beyond the Bland Genre: Reflections of the Work of Katarzyna Górna (2004). She successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, presenting her research on the subject of Masochistic Themes in Polish Performance Art during the Polish People's Republic (2014). She has delivered guest lectures at Collegium Civitas and Vistula University, and currently teaches postgraduate courses in Art Market Management at the University of Warsaw. She is the author of the programme and leader of the Modern Art History specialization at the Postgraduate Studies of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Furthermore, she has been involved in art criticism and the organisation of exhibitions and artistic projects.
