She graduated with a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wrocław (specialization: “old books”). She took part in the work of the Inter-University Coordinating Team for the Implementation of VTLS, serving as a system librarian at the University of Warsaw Library and co-authoring the manual Zasady sporządzania kartotek haseł wzorcowych w sieci bibliotecznej Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Since 1999, she has been involved in the introduction of the Horizon system within the Consortium of Polish Academy of Science Libraries in Warsaw, conducting training in data entry in the MARC21 format and preparing manuals for librarians. Between 2007 and 2009, she collaborated on the creation of the BazHum project carried out by the Polish History Museum, developing rules for creating records, authoring data-entry manuals and conducting training.
