Aleksandra Fedorowicz-Jackowska, PhD
Art historian, graphic designer, and researcher specializing in 19th-century book culture and illustration. She graduated from the University of Warsaw and Utrecht University, and in 2022 earned a PhD in the humanities from the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is the author of Nieuznana rewolucja? Polskie książki i fotografia (1856–1883) (Unacknowledged Revolution? Polish Books and Photography, 2023) and co-author of Porządek dziedzictwa w XIX wieku. Polskie pojęcia i wyobrażenia (The Order of Heritage in the 19th Century: Polish Concepts and Images, 2023). Her current research focuses on 19th-century drawing-book culture, with particular attention to cultural exchange and interconnectedness across geographical boundaries.
