Mateusz Masłowski, MA

A graduate of theatre studies at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw and the State Institute of Theatre Arts in Moscow (GITIS). In 2018, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Department of Russian Theatre at the State Institute of Theatre Arts in Moscow. Since 2023, he has been a doctoral student at the Anthropos Doctoral School of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on the theatrical experiences of director Henryk Szaro and the connections between his films and Soviet theatre of the early 1920s. Editor of Pamiętnik Teatralny. He specialises in the history of 20th-century Russian theatre, Polish-Russian theatrical contacts, the work and theatrical thought of Nikolai Yevreinov, and Russian theatre in exile.
