Anna Marcinowska, MA

Studied at the Institute of Art History at the University of Warsaw from 1976 to 1981, graduating (with honours) and a master's thesis entitled 'Romanesque Wall Paintings in Czerwińsk', supervised by Prof. Piotr Skubiszewski. 
She has been employed at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1984, first in the Bibliographic Research Unit (until 2012) and then in the Documentation of the 20th and 21st Centuries Visual Arts Section. After completing an archival course at the Association of Polish Archivists in 2011, she managed the Institute of Art Archives from 2012 to 2018.
Her areas of research include literature on Polish art history and Polish contemporary art until 1960.
