Graduate of the Institute of Art History of the University of Warsaw, completed PhD studies at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Awarded PhD on the basis of thesis entitled Refleksy europejskiej fascynacji Chinami w Rzeczypospolitej czasów Stanisława Augusta (Reflections of the European Fascination with China in Poland under the reign of Stanisław II Augustus), written under the supervision of Professor Katarzyna Mikocka-Rachubowa (2010). Assistant professor at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Department of the History of Fine Arts). She was awarded scholarships granted by Polish Academy of Sciences, The de Brzezie Lanckoroński Foundation, Institut International de la Marionnette in Charleville-Meziérès and Trust for Mutual Understanding.
